if I recall 39 is the first year of the B,,,my 39 is hand crank start,,,Jim

I don't believe starters were an option on the 1930's Bs.....you may have to swap torque tubes from a newer model if you want electric start.

starters were an option on b models from production #1 to #43220 built in 1940 as were lights sorry lisa i dont have one but somebody will.
