To PROPERLY operate a 3 point mounted plow you need both position and draft controls and you would have neither. You could plow without them but you would have to constantly lift lower and hold the plow the the hand lever to maintain some semblence of even depth, no fun. Another option would be to install some sort of adjustable depth wheel so that the plow would follow ground contour. If your not going to be switching that often the best choice would be to remove the three point and use the A-C plow. As far as modifying the Allis plow to 3-point, it can be done, do you have a torch, welder and some steel? Is it something that should be attempted?, probably not. New single bottom 3 point plows are cheap at places like Tractor Supply and I would sell the A-C plow and buy one if I were to attempt what you propose.
