Can anyone tell me what size rear spin-out wheels were found on a 1953 WD-45?

Were more than one size available for this tractor in 1953?

Standard tire on the WD45 was a 12-28, the 13-28 was the option. (WD standard was 11", oversize was 12") Those are old size markings, current in the year of manufacture. New size markings, which represent the maximum cross-sectional (bulge) width of the tire, rather than the rim size, started in about (?) 1960. Many WD45s came with 13 inch rear rubber, thus the current replacement size is a 14.9-28.

14.9x28 tire size was an option at first and I think standard later on. 14.9 seems to fit the tractor better than the smaller sizes.

Jim, I read the same thing you did. I think those are the tire sizes. I think the rims were 10" x 28". John
