Greetings from a Deere man. I recently saw a picture of an old AC 440 4wd (articulated) and was wondering who made them if not AC. The one I saw looked like an old Steiger painted orange. What was the HP rating of these and what powerplants were available. Where can I see more pictures of this machine? Iíd like to know more about them. Thanks in advance.

You are correct in thinking it looked like a Stieger. That is who made them for A-C.

Thanks íLil! We used to have a Steiger ST-325 Panther (3406 Cat / 20-speed) that was a few model years ahead of the old AC 440. It sure was a hoss! Is there anyone Steiger HASNíT made tractors for? LOL! Thanks for the reply.
