First I would like to thank everyone who helped out before. The next problem I got is the manifold. Is it suppose to go through the top or out the side with the 45 degree pipe. The tractor serial number is 110328. There is no number on the engine. Also on the radiator shell will WC,WD,WD45 fit or are they different. The one I have has no hole for the shutter control. All the rest I have have the hole for the control. Thanks in advance Tractor Rod

Rod, you have a 34 wc with an all fuel motor with 4 to 1 compression. It is call a unstyled and should have a 45 degree manifold on it and has a hand crank start motor. I am not sure about the shutters. the other wc`s and wd`s are different but have basic the same motor but higher compression and electric start. it is very hard to find parts for the early 30`s. I am still looking for the air breather bowl to make mine complete good luck steve

This is per my Allis partsbook dated 1965 and agrees with the book that came with my 41 WC when new..
If you have a gas only engine,(no "K" after the engine s/n on LH side center of block)
and the engine s/n is under W-106509, your exhaust should exit at a 45 from under the hood edge. A gas engine with a s/n W-106509 and up came up thru the hood.If you have a Kerosene fueled engine ("k" after engine s/n and secondary fuel tank under hood, your exhaust should exit at a 45 also. I understand that ALLIS quit making the 45 degree manifold many years ago, and sold people the new style manifold as a replacement.A hole was cut in the hood for the exit pipe. You can buy aftermarket hoods and 45 manifolds if your wallet can take it to repair the damage done.
I know the cowl from a WD will fit and should have the shutter hole, not sure about the WD-45. If yours doen't have a hole, my guess is that it has been replaced at sometime.
