I bought a propane powered D-17 built in 1963 a few months ago. I have been trying to find out the horsepower of the engine. Does anybody know where I can get that info? Thanks, Bryan

HP for LPG is 46.23 drawbar, 50.79 belt/pto. About 2 less than on gas. These are great tractors enjoy it and take care of it. One of ACs best.

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
