I told a friend I would post this question for him. He is really big on collecting AC equipment of any type and just bought an old 6 wheel amphibious vehicle made by AC called the Terra Tiger. I believe he has a book that came with it, but I'm not sure if it's just an owners manual, or a service book or what. He wanted me to ask about most any type of literature that could be had for it, but he especially wants to find some of the old sales literature, etc. Also anybody that might know where another one is that could be used for parts, etc, and/or pretty much anything else related please let me know and I will pass it along. Thanks, Wayne

I do not know if anybody would be interested in buying a Terra Tiger. I have a non running Terra Tiger. It has a everything there to restore it. It has a 2 cycle engine in it. I believe it is made by Kohelor. It has been in my family for around 32 years. It was my fathers 6 wheeler. He died in 1977 and we just let it go. It will need all six tires. He had also made stainless steel axles to replace original steel axles. He is the on that took out the original 8 hp engine and installed the much stronger Kohelor. I used to drive this when I was a kid. It had lots of power and was very fun. It would open the eyes of people that did not know what it would do. It would surprise me too sometimes. I live in the Houston area and would consider offers. I an considering listing it on Ebay too. Let me know if you are interested. My email address id EACurry@EV1.net

You might want to try the folks over at www.simpletractors.com. I believe that I've seen a few different aspects of the Terra Tiger discussed there a few times.

Today's Featured Article - Tractor Hydraulics - The Basics - by Curtis Von Fange. Hydraulics was one of the greatest inventions for helping man compound the work he can do. Itís amazing how a little floor jack can lift tons and tons of weight with just the flick of a handle. Whatís even more amazing is that all the principals of hydraulic theory can be wrapped up in such a small package. This same package applies to any hydraulic system from the largest bulldozer to the oldest and smallest tractor. This short series will take a look at the basic layout of a simple hydraul ...
