I'm assuming engine oil is added through the cap that is on the distributor housing unit.

Also I got the lift working today, It raises well, but when I return the control valve to the off position, I can lower the lift arms by putting weight on them. Is this normal or do I need to keep the valve open slightly to keep implements raised.

Thanks
Kevin

Engine oil goes in by dist on WD WD45 my ca takes it thru valve cover. lift raises when lever vertical lowers when horizontal on wd and WD45 to hold load at full lift position simply leave lever vertical, to hold at any mid position lower lever slowly to approx 45 degrees and you will feal a change in feel of movement that is hold psition, if this is not the case you need to set adjustments on controlvalve on top of pump. If your decals on battery box are readable you can get directions there otherwise you need a book

WHEN YOU LOWER THE HYD CONTROL YOU ARE RELEASING THE PRESURE TO THE RAMS. THIS IS NORMAL OPERATING PROCEDURE GOOD LUCK, SOUNDS LIKE YOUR'E HAVING FUN. BOB
