Im planing on making a fork lift ot of a allis B Does anyone know if i can pute the ring gear on the right side So i will have 3 speeds in reverse Thanks jim

I talked with an other guy and he said that they did put the dif on the other side of pinion.

Yes all you have to do is move ring from the right side to the left.You might have to move the shims from right to left also.Check back lash and clearance.So they do not ruin the ring and pinion. Everything else stay the same.

40 yrs ago they put the dif in backwards so they had 4 rev. and 1 forward. This was done on the WD-WD45 for cutting pea vines.I do not know if you can do it on the B.
