I just talked Dad into selling me one of his gas D-17s. Will be hauling it from Kansas City to Phoenix in a couple of weeks. Have a tri-axle gooseneck to a Dodge cummins, but am curious what kind of weight I will be pulling. Thanks.

Depending on the ballast added to the D-17 they weigh somewhere around 4500 to 5000 lbs. or more.

D17D narrow front, 16.9-28 rear tires with fluid to the top of the rim weighs 5700, full of fuel, your rig probably will hardly know it's back there. Have a good trip. TED
