Would like to find out number of plug used in a C; mine has paint all over them and can't see the numbers. Thanks!

according to the manual you use an autolite AN-7 or AC-45 for gas. Use Autolite A-9 or AC-47 for low octane fuels.

What this list (and the unofficial AC forum) finally came up with after much discussion some time back was Autolite 303 for tractors with distributor ignition and Autolite 295 for tractors with magneto ignition. That works for B, C, CA, RC, WC, WD, WD45 and probably a few more. Champions don't seem to work well in AC's (many folks report this) and AC plugs do pretty well, but not as well as Autolite. I've switched from AC plugs to Autolite and it does make a difference.
