We have a located an 653 with a 6 way blade in seemingly good condition for $6500.The engine and gearboxes were rebuilt about 3 years ago however the undercarriage needs to be rebuilt soon. The machine starts up easily, runs well and the hydraulics are good. We have an immediate need for a dozer of this size for roughly two months and while the price is right I would like to seek advice. I have a series of photos that I can send anyone willing to have a look see. Thank you. Gordon

The 653's are good machines. The AC HD 4 and 653 are the same machine. The 653 has a few refinements. I have an HD 4 and recently got a price for undercarriage parts from: SR Industries,824 Cody Road, Toms River, N.J.,Phone # 732-929-4595,Ask for Art Seeger. A very nice fellow and good prices. $6500 is a little high for a machine that needs undercarriage work, though. Phil
