I've found a pair of B's near home and was wondering what they're worth. One is complete but has some water in the oil. The other is complete except for the rear tires. One is asking 300 and the other is asking 50. If the engines or transmissions arent completely shot, can a fellow go wrong buying these? Thanks,David

You can't go wrong at those prices. I would hope the water in the oil is rain water or condensation, but I would expect the block is cracked between the sleeves. The second block increases your chances of getting a good block to rebuild.

if the block is cracked. a goog machine shop can repair it. but you must look for a machine shop that is like the old black smith shops.
