My WC came back from the dead

I went out and spent some time on my stuck WC today to seee if I could get the stuck engine freed up.
I pulled the plugs and found one cylinder was clear full of water. That really scared me when I plulled the plug and it was wet with water.
I shot penetrating oil in all the cylinders and tried to turn the engine with a wrench on hand crank shaft and I couldn't budge the engine.
then just for the heck of it I put a 12 volt battery in it and tried the starter and to my suprize it started to turn over. I had a bunch of water shooting out the spark plug hole on #3 cylinder but after it quit blowing water out of the plug holes I checked compression with my finger and found decent pressure on all but #3
I guess I must have a valve stuck open on #3.
Then I pulled the fuel line from the carb and found nothing but water coming fron the fuel tank. I took a can of gas and a piece of fuel line and rigged a temporary fuel tank. I reinstalled the plugs and tried to fire it up and it started up and ran for a minute or so, oil pressure was good, it had a miss but I'm sure that is a stuck valve.
I still have alot of work to do but that has to be about the easiest stuck engine I've seen to get freed up. I wasn't planning on trying to fire it up today, just seeing if I could get it freed up.
This tractor is still sitting where I bought it, the old gentleman who I bought it from came out to tell me it was sure nice to see it run again.
I guess now I need to address the rotten tires, fuel tank and the leaking waterpump.
then I can try to sneak it home when my wife isn't looking, or I just need to figure out which project has to go, she's told me not to bring anything home till one of the others leaves.
Anyway I think I had a really lucky day!

Before you bring that old AC home you'd better invest in a new and more spacious dog house since you and Rover may be sharing quarters. My neighbor has a tv antenna on his dawg house, whatever that means.

Sometimes, (when you are really lucky) a stuck engine can be just a hydro lock like yours. Fluids won't compress so when you get water in a cyl like that the engine will act like it is seized up. Removing the plugs before trying to turn over a seized engine is my first step for that reason.Actually you can get a fluid lock from the fuel, coolant or oil if enough accumulates in a cyl.
