I'm looking at a WD 45 with an allis loader ... Would tow my all crop 72 nicely, it has a manure fork on it, Could this loader handle a 900 lb. round bale ??
Did allis do any other loader for this other than a trip bucket???

Thanks in advance
Kevin

We used to Butcher a steer every year, and I can tell you that we were able to lift the entire animal off the ground with the old WD w/ AC loader....and that was at least 1,100 lbs... Probably closer to 1,200..... BUT...you should have the rear tires LOADED to the top of the rims, or you may roll it over--if you are lifting them very high..!! Maybe even set the rear tires out wider, too...

There is not a slick way to get the second hydraulic circuit for a hydraulic dump bucket. The standard hyd is single acting only. I have seen it done, typically with a separate pump run off the PTO plus a reservoir and valve, but it is a lot of stuff and ties up your PTO. I would recommend looking for a tractor that already has two double acting circuits. It will cost a lot more than a WD.
