It is an English made A/C- 41hp Standard diesel engine, hi/lo trans. Most parts are discontinued, so your choices are--salvage yard, hope for cross references, or find a machine shop. Email the yards and hope for some hits. Engine parts are available. Plan on having the steering box spend some time at the machine shop. If the engine sounds good, it would be a fun project. Guessing, range of value for a good running machine, 1800 to 2800. Not so good running, with metal missing- a few hundred. My ED40 has been a good machine.

The 1964 ED40 is similar to my Dad's 1968 D15, but I've not had them side by side to make measurements. It would seem the tin could be reworked to fit if you are that intent on bringing the beast back to life. Let me know if you go forward with the project and need part numbers. Good Luck.
