I have a 14C Fiat-Allis bulldozer. Yesterday, when I fired up the engine there was no response on the hydraulics to the tracks, but the blade tilt was ok. So I decided to shut down the engine and start up again - miraculously everything seems to work good.
Today,I start up the engine but there was no hydraulics to the tracks again, but the blade tilt is still ok. So I decided to shut down and re-start to see if it helps, but still no hydraulics to the tracks. The hydraulic fluid level is ok though. What seems to be the problem? Can someone help me on this? Appreciate any and all help. Thanks.

Simon, im not sure what you mean by the track hydraulics. Do you mean it wont go into gear (transmission) or are you really talking about something on the hydraulic tank and valve. If you are on the dozer raise cylinders, the spool in the valve might have cracked causing no raise, just tilt operation. I would repost on www.ibdozing.com (the dozer guys) and expalin more in detail what problem you have.
