Problem with WD Powershift wheels

I'm having a problem keeping the locking cams tight on the power-shift wheels on my WD. While pulling tree stumps lately, even though I've got all four cams locked down as tight as they will go, the inner wheel is spinning on the outer wheel and running that wheel all the way in against the fender. Are these four locking cam mechanisms rebuildable / replaceable? I've tried using shims between the cam button and the rail on the outer wheel to get a tighter lock, but to no avail. Anybody have any suggestions as to a shim material to use? (It seems that this would be an easy quick fix - I can't afford to take the tractor out of commision for extended repairs)

Any advice / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Sean

I had the same problem, take locks off and on the the inside there are these "C" shaped pieces of steel that work on a cam to lock against your bar adjust on the rim. Just run two lines of weld on them, they will work like brand new. You may have to do some grinding on them, you don't need a big thick gobs of weld. Also if you don't have the locks get them also.

The cams alone won't keep the rails from slipping..you need the stops...I like to use one on the inside, and one on the outside....to keep the wheel in place forward and backward... They only go on one rail....the one with the holes in it...

You need the stops that go on one of the spiral bars on the rim to locate and stop rotation of the cam locks on the rim. How about the "shoe" or "block" as AC calls it that goes between the excentric and the rail? Do you have them on all 4 cams? The stops are AC part no. 219456 and the screws that hold them to the rails are 218662. These fit into the holes you see in one of the rails on each rim.

You definitely need two stops on each wheel; and even then I've see the rails worn from the movement back and forth between the stops when the tractor is used hard.
