I don't think there were any single-front-tire G tractors. The design was for a "wide" front end and I doubt a narrow front could have fit or would have been at all stable. There were single-front-tire C tractors. No idea how rare they were. Is it actually a G with the engine behind the seat, or another model someone is calling a G?

It is a complete AC G with a factory looking single front wheel. Doesn`t look like a after market setup.

OK, We *have* to have a picture of that! Can you take one and post it? Or if you don't have access to a digital camera or a scanner you can mail a picture to me and I'll scan it in and post it (e-mail me directly for an address). I can't imagine how they'd do that and I'd like to see it!

Identifying Tractor Smells - by Curtis Von Fange. We are continuing our series on learning to talk the language of our tractor. We have already talked about some of the colors the unit might leave as clues to its well-being. Now we are going to use our noses to diagnose particular smells. ELECTRICAL SMELLS
