37 wc is the loader worth putting back on ?

I have just restored one, but havn`t put the loader back on. it is in good shape it has the pto pump and good bucket. I think it is a new Ideal. What color should it be? it has been painted red and orange. thanks steve

Steve; That depends on whether the tractor is of more use with or without the loader. Normally speaking, if an old tractor has a good loader on it, I usually put it back on after restoration. New Idea loaders and other accessories are generally painted a kind of beige. I normally paint accessory equiptment to match the tractor on which it is installed. Makes for a more uniform appearance. But, this is strictly my preference. Some paint them their original colors, I suppose for easier identification of brand. Hope this helps.
