I'm just curious, but do people really consider Indiana as "West", 'cause I'd have to drive five days EAST to get there.

I consider Indiana being more as central-east.But I guess thats just the way the east&west shows came up for 1999.I usually go to the east show. This year Ill try to go to the west show its closer. Some years both shows are to far away.Maybe in 2000 it will be out west more.
have a good day.

Hey you guys,
Depending on where you live, or how far you'll drive, the Upper Midwest A-C Collectors Club has one of the best shows I've ever seen. They have about 20 acres set aside for plowing, combining, both oats and this year corn as somebody has a corn head for an allcrop and baling. They do a real good job keeping this show in an orderly fashion. Also there is a raffle tractor to be given away. It is a '59 D-12 or $2000 in cash if you don't want the tractor. I have raffle tickets and they're $2 each. Email me or call Ed or Larry. The show dates are July 24 & 25 in Hutchinson, MN. For more info contact Ed or Larry Karg at 320-587-3772 or 320-587-3771.

My husband and I went to Marshalltown, IA last year. I didn't know heaven was in IA! It was a great show. There is also a video of the two day event. There is a "B" square dance with the tractors and a walk through the history of AC looking at one model of each tractor ever produced. It also had the last production tractor off the line. Contact if you would like the name to get the video.

Karg's show, The Orange Spectacular, IS one of the best shows for an AC enthusiast I have ever been to. We liked it so well we started a similar show in Northern IL, called the AC Jamboree. While smaller, we try to do as many different types of field work as possible at our show. Show dates are 17&18 July, 1999, and we welcome all exhibitors or spectators. We're at Davis Illinois about 20 miles north west of Rockford. Ted and Sue Buisker. 815-865-5797

Ted, just wrote you in on the calendar. If your show is half as good as the Spectacular, I'll be more than satisfied. The A-C connection needs a better show than what they do in Amana. Without any place to work, its hard to keep it interesting. By the way, do you have camping there or motels close by? Have a good day. Brian
