Anyone have an idea about what the price would be
on an Allis B (Not Running). Oil pump quit working,
but not locked up. Almost new tires, elecric start,
good metal with cultivators? Not sure of year. Thanks for any info.

D Man; As an average, for a not running but complete "B" Allis. $300 is the going salvage price. Bear in mind, that while it didnt lock the engine, it might well have spun or scored one or more bearings in the engine. An oil pump giving out while the engine is running generally causes BAD things to happen, spun bearing, scored cam bearings, damaged bearing seating surfaces, etc. You may be able to prime the pump and get it pumping again, but the damage may have already been done. Something to think about before shelling out too much on this tractor. Engine rebuilds can get pricey.

Do u wanna sell it? I gave $350 for one that had good compression but missing most of the parts and since that engine ain't good now I would be interested in it for the rest of the parts on mine.

Yup, I'd agree.....about $300-500 depending on how bad the buyer wants it.

I would give $400-$500 if it was around here,In good to great shape, engine most likley will need rebuild!!!!!There is a trick you can try on those pumps and it works 3/4 0/0 or the time!!!Without spliting the tractor. That is common on the B's and CA's. Remove 1 of the capilary tubes that come out of the Tee which comes out of the oil pump which you can not see.Actually remove the 1 that feeds the rocker arm assembly,Take a squeeze bottle with 30w oil in it and fill that line with oil ,then spray 100-150psi compressed air into that line ,repeat a couple times.Put line back on tee and I would almost be willing to bet you will have good oil Psi,sometimes the fingers in the pump stick and alittle oil and air will cure the problem,Good Luck Justin

whole lot easier to remove oil line from filter base, turn up toward head and with a pump oil can pump oil into tractor oil pump. works for me every time

Need to clearify alittle,You want to fill the tee and the iron line going to the Oil Pump with oil and blow air into it.Not the line ya remove from the tee. Justin
