I am wondering what a good price is for a Series II D-15 gas? It has a 3pth and a loader. The loader is fully hydraulic. One of the lift arms for the 3pth has been broken but was welded. It seems to be in good condition for it's age. There's a front mounted hydraulic pump (it looks like aftermarket)and as a result, no grill. It runs the loader, not to sure if it runs the 3pth.
The tires are good and it's had recent tranny work, not exactly sure on what parts. There seems to be a slight leak on the rear axle. This tractor has those gears that make it gain clearance, without using larger tires. Pardon my tractor ignorance. Are these reliable? The local dealer wants $5000 Can. I'm located in SE British Columbia. I've never seen an Allis here before, is this a good price? I was thinking a little high. Thanks. -Ryan-

The internal pump would run the three point hitch, external pump is for loader, etc. Tranny work is likely to be 3rd gear? Some D series had problems with that. Gears to gain clearance? Many AC models had that- normal production models, nothing special. AC was always big on small tires and rear end gear reduction units. SOP.

Today's Featured Article - A Farmall Restoration Story - What's Been Done So Far - by Sean Brinston. This is a story of my first real tractor restoration. My name is Sean Brinston and I was 15 almost 16 at the time of this.My neighbour directly across the road who I had helped with hay all the time had this tractor sitiing at his house for what I thought was 6 years. Finally I got the money and courage to ask him. I phoned him and he said it was already sold, eight years ago! ... [Read Article]
