It could probaly be made to work, but the HP of the engine will likely destroy your rearend, and you'll have more money in adapter plates and things which would have to be custom made. It would bbe less expensive ot just by a good rebuilt engine for the WD

I agree with LH, sounds like economics are the primary issue. If you own the 560 engine, sell it and put the proceeds towards rebuilding the WD engine or purchasing a replacement.

Hi Justin:

I saw a half stripped WD parts tractor on eBay not to long ago, that did not sell, it had a short block. It was located in Colorado.

There is another seller on eBay currently listing a lot of WD parts, they may have an engine. I believe they are located in Missouri.

Have you pulled the head and oil pan on your engine that is stuck? You may be able to take it apart one cylinder at a time. You could then rebuild the engine you have with a major overhaul kit.

Good Luck,

Scott H

Thanks I will look on Ebay for it some more. I have not gotten the engine all apart yet everything is rusted and just like cemented together it is hard because i have gottne bolts off and everything but parts still will not come off.
Thanks,
Justin
