Where is the hydraulic plug for my lil" B???
I have a little block that the hydraulic line comes to under the seat on the right hand side (sitting on the tractor). I have a hydraulic line going to the front of the tractor to lift a snow plow up/down. Is the fill plug a square plug low on the left axle of the tractor? How much do I fill the resivoir with? Does the system do anything for the PTO or the belt pully? Thanks for the help-again. Joe

the transmission, differential/bevel gear and the PTO / hydraulic housings all three share the same oil. the plug is on the left side of the transmission, in front of the axle housing. probably a 1 inch pipe plug. It takes about 7 or 8 quarts of oil. I like to use trans/hydraulic fluid (20 wt oil) that you can get from Wal Mart or the local Farm Store. There are three plugs on the bottom of the three cases. I would drain all three and start over with new oil. Get the old crud out. It only cost $10 for a 2 gallon can of new oil. Fill to the top of the plug hole.
