Was going to do some subsoiling last week. Loaned the subsoiler to a friend during the summer and was going to unload it with lift boom for 3 point hitch. Found that tractor did not want to lift at idle so reved it up to 1/2 throttle and it lifted it off the trailer as I drove foward about 20ft the lift came down on its own (very fast). After a struggle I finally got the sub hooked directly to 3 pont hitch and went to the field it would lift the sub ok until you put it in the ground. The depth control would not control the depth so I tried to lift it out of the soil but it would not lift. Lift has always seemed somewhat weak for the size of the tractor(Owned tractor since 2-20-01). I have had dealings in the past with John Deere and IH tractors so my feelings with the lift weak may just have been a misconception. I changed the filters this past spring (as preventive Maintenance) and only have approx. 100-150 hrs since they were changed. (3filters)Hyrdraulic remotes seem to be working Ok but Iwill know for sure when welding shop fixes large disc harrow. Any tips or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Tommy

Check your system pressure
Me thinks your compensator is out of adjustment
or has a broken adjustment screw
The tractor should have 2300 psi @ any engine speed
