I just bought a 7000 series tractor and I can't find the serial number. Can anyone help?? I found a number on the back of the differential, and another on the oil pan but I am not sure which one is the correct one? Help me please.

Also, do you know what size tires that takes in the front? There are Hopper Wagon Tires 11L-15 on there now. I know that these aren't right but I am not sure what the right size is. Thanks again.

Should be on the right side of the differential
housing for the model 7000. It will have 4 digits
ranging from 1001 to 8963.

I found one on the back axle and the number was 260655-04. Would the four digit number be in that somewhere? Thanks for the reply.

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Storm Covers - by Staff. We recently had a chance to try out the new Storm Cover for the Ford 9N, 2N and 8N tractor that is now being re-introduced to a new generation of Ford N-Series tractor owners. Originally produced more than 40 years ago, it is now enjoying a reproduction run that has been licensed by the Ford Motor Company. An original storm cover was used for the pattern, and this reproduction cover is indeed exactly as the original (of which we had previously only seen pictures of in miscellaneous old sale ...
