Drawbar dimensions on the WD with pin hitch and WD45 with Snap-Coupler are (about) the same- hard to measure exactly. Lower piece (front one) is 35 inches, upper piece (rear one) is 25 inches, bolted together they total 44 inches. Two other holes allow for shortening by 4 1/2 inches or 5 3/4 inches. 44 inch length puts the drawbar pin at 15 inches behind the pto shaft. Recommended by Operator's manual that shorter lengths be used for heavy tillage, longer length for pto work. For all practical purposes, no one ever changes them, just leave it set for pto. Some engineer had too much time on his hands.

Is this what you want to know? "The drawbar is adjustable in lenght and should be set to extend 14" beyond the end of the PTO shaft when used with the PTO.Use short position for all drawbar work when PTO is not used." This is from Model "WD"tractor operating instructions. Hope this helps Sid

UNSURE ABOUT D/B LENGTH THERE IS AN SAE SPEC ON LENGTH BECAUSE OF PTO ATTACH.
TO TIME THE MAG, REMOVE #1 PLUG,PLACE YOUR THUMB OVER HOLE, CRANK UNTIL YOU FEEL AIR BEING PUSHED OUT OF PLUG HOLE. THEN LOOK IN THE INSPECTION HOLE ON SIDE OF BELL HOUSING FOR THE FIRE MARK, MIGHT HAVE TO TURN CRANK FURTHER, THEN REMOVE THE DIST CAP FROM THE MAG AND TURN THE COUPLING TO MATCH THE MATING PIECE ON THE GOVENOR SHAFT THIS SHOULD PUT THE ROTOR AT THE TIMING MARK INSIDE OF THE DIST (UPPER LEFT POSITION THERE IS AN INDICATOR TO ALIGN TO, A RAISED AREA, CORRESPONDS TO #1 WIRE POSITION. NOW IF YOUR NOT TOTALLY COFUSED IT SHOULD WORK.
