I got my '49 "G" running,but can't get the hydraulic lift to work !....It must be simple..... ..operating instructions are not in the manual....I guess it could be broken....I have worked the handle up and down ,no movemen't .....can you help ? Thank you....

Don, I think you have a major problem. The belt pulley puts the power to the hydraulic system. No belt pulley, no hydraulics. Are you sure that you have no pulley or PTO? Is there a big plate bolted over where the pulley gears are located?

Maybe you could find a pulley somewhere. It should not be too expensive as I imagine most Gs already have a pulley. Maybe you could find one at a salvage yard.

On drivers left side at belt pully , there a lever thah must be engaged and clitch out for hyd. to work.. HT..AKA orangetractor1

My tractor is not equiped with a belt pulley ....
