AC WD I think?

i just bought this tractor it is an allis chalmers with a narrow front end it has adjustable rear wheels rubber tires , four speed trans four cylinder gas engine , headlights are middle of sides it is a six volt set up with rods for starter and choke . it is not froze but will not run . serial # is wd2167203a. I would like to know what year and model it is any help would be appreciated thanx . larry

ok i found serial # wd15153 on axle this makes it a 1949 wd .thanx to the guys that were kind enough to post follow ups. questions i have what are the two levers at steering wheel for one seems to adjust timing the other i dont know ?the big lever next to brakes seems to be pto .any help appreciated thanx . larryc

The lever on the left hand side controls the hydraulics. The lever on the right side is the throttle.

Larry, I bet that's the engine serial number (which appears to be a WD engine as the WD45 engine start with '45-'). Look on the rear axle for the tractor serial number. Here's a good link that shows exactly where to look for the WD/WD45 serial number.

Larry,
According to my data book, looks like it could be a WD45. It looks like you have a couple extra numbers there. Not sure. That 216720 number would fall in the 1955 vintage range. According to the book, the last serial number for the WD45 was 236958, which was in 1957. Steve B.
