$1000 if in running but poor rubber and sheet metal. $2500 if running, no smoke 80% or better rubber, perfect sheet metal, nothing needs fixing.

Thanks much for your help, Eldon. I can't go to the implement dealer because the person wanting to buy the tractor IS the implement dealer! Tractor is probably worth between $1000-1200. Thanks again.

In that case I would ask for more.....you know the only reason they want it is that they know they can make money reselling it.

Why not place an ad in the paper and sell it to someone who will enjoy it, or better yet someone on this forum! You should also go over to that other forum and post it for sale. Great bunch of guys over there, too.

Victoria.....hi.....Name's Dave Lester, and we live in Southwest Michigan. We have a little C and we've been a regular "fan" of the forum since we got it.

I gotta agree with Eldon. That implement dealer only wants to turn around and sell it to someone else for more money (not that it's a bad thing;that's what he's in business for), and it sounds to me like the tractor means a little more to you than simply "the money".

We got our little C through an ad we saw in a newspaper printed from central Indiana called "FarmWorld", and it was the greatest thing, cause the previous owner wanted the tractor to go to someone (us) who would really use it and appreciate it, and he was pleased to meet us, and vice versa. It's turned into a good friendship.

Before I'd sell it to the dealer who is just going to turn around and sell it to someone else (again....not a bad thing....) I'd at least consider puttin'an ad on-line or in some publication near where you live and seeing if there's someone out there who would really appreciate it.

Just a thought.
