I just got an Allis Chalmbers tractor I'm trying to identify. Casting ahead of seat is u25-12. This is a tricycle tractor with rubber tires. All the pictures I find of U tractors are wide front. Unstyled tractor. Pedals are under the rearend housing. Hand brakes . Belly mounted sicklebar with lift mechanism between belt pulley area[no belt pulley] and rear axle housing.

That UC is a good find, at least around here (Md.) I don't see them much. There are a nice looking tractor, I always wanted one.

It sounds like you have a "UC",does it have an overhead valve engine or a flat head?

Frank's probably right. If it's not a UC the only other thing that comes to mind is an unstyled WC.

That casting # ahead of the seat is the same as my "UC".
