What would/should a working side-mounted sicklebar mower cost for a WD? I would like to get one for some trimming, etc. around my place. Am in mid-Ohio area. Thanks in advance for info.

I just picked up a rear mount snap coupler mower,(#9)? Like brand new, always kept inside. Neighbor wanted it out of his barn and gave it to me for hauling it away. I thought the price was "right".

Just bought a rear mount, with tail wheel, pitman style(Not twin wheel) for $100 on small auction. Passed one up last year that went about $225. I would imagine the twin wheel style would go in the 2-300 range. One I bought needs some parts and re-working in drive area to tighten things up before use. WD it was on had new rubber, recent overhaul, light use for years- $1800. Only tractor on sale.

I am giving my belly mounted sickle mower away. It is currently mounted on my '49 model B. I do not know if it would mount up or work at all on your WD and I am in Oregon anyway.

Originally produced more than 40 years ago, it is now enjoying a reproduction run that has been licensed by the Ford Motor Company. An original storm cover was used for the pattern, and this reproduction cover is indeed exactly as the original (of which we had previously only seen pictures of in miscellaneous old sale ...
