That's the "engine" serial number. If the engine is original, it is most likely a late 1953 WD; just before the WD was superceded by the WD-45. To get the actual year of manufacture, you will need the "tractor" serial number which is located on the LH rear vertical surface of the differential/brake housing. Look for a smooth "boss" between the brake spring hole and the brake adjusting bolt/locknut with the number stamped on it. The numbers are not stamped deep so you may have to do a little scraping to find it.
