Is a "C" good for anything other than mowing?

OF COURSE! IT's AN ALLIS! The "C" is useful for anything you can run with the PTO or belt, such as sprayers and mowers, or pull at the drawbar, such as, discs, drags, mowers, planters, plows, harvesters, wagons, sprayers, and cultivators. Allis also made many implements designed for the "C" such as, the All-Crop 40 Harvester/Combine, a mounted sickle mower, mounted planters and cultivators, mounted one and 2-way plows and middlebusters, and snowplows. A bale loader designed for used with the Roto-Baler was also produced for the C. As you can see there was quite an array of used for the C. Hope this helps!

i have a three point hitch on mine and use a blade for snow and leveling dirt. I have a dirt scoop that will move 500 pounds of dirt or rock per pass. I have a set of forks for the 3 point and move pallets around up to 500 pounds each. We have a couple small farm trailers and move wood, straw, etc around the farm. I have seen a couple tractors with small loaders on the front, but again these are light duty tractors, dont expect it to do the work of a D17.
