Lift creeps up some with cultivator on and hard to go down sometimes without alot of weight on the back. The valve has two levers the left one is currently disconnected. Is there something wrong with the hydraulic valve on the right side. Also I would like to know if there is a hydraulic valve repair kit or a replacement. Any information will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My D-12 has also always been very hard to push the lift arms down with less than a few hundred pounds on them. I don't know if it's typical or out of adjustment. I also had a problem once where the lift would slowly come back up unless you continued to hold the control down. That had some thing to do with the traction booster system - I think maybe the sensing linkage was stuck since tapping on the "plunger" poriton of the linkage with a hammer a number of times fixed that.

I can't technically answer your question (if that makes any sense), however....I just went thru a similar situation with a D14. Here is what my Buddy and I found out. There is some connection between the booster and the remote hookup. On mine, you could raise an implement with the remote, but then it wouldn't let it down. I hooked a hydralic guage on a short hose and we kept messing with the levers (I think you will have to definately hook up your other lever) Turns out. You have to have the booster lever in the lower position, once its there, then the remote worked just fine...its weird, but if you get the IT manual and read it, it explains this to some extent.

After re-reading your question, I see I misunderstood what your trouble is. I'll look at my book when I get home and see if it makes and reference to it.
