Can the hydraulic system of of a WD or WD-45 fit on a styled WC? I'm just curious, I'd like to add hydraulics to the WC I'm about to bring home.

The simplest way to do it is use a PTO pump, you will probably find it inconvenient however. Other options are crank mounted or belt pulley mounted. John

Did not Allis Chalmers have a mechical lift availble for the WC? I think I remember seeing WCs with cultivers on them. I think they had somthing to do with the pulley drive on the side. Did I dream this or does someone know about this? Sid

Sid, the mechanical lift bolted to the top of the driveline between the transmission and the differential. Problem was that you had to be in a forward gear to get the thing to work. John

John, it would work standing still if you put down the rear disconnect lever and left it in a any forward gear. In that respect it isn't a lot different than hydraulics. The negative is that it is two position and the position is not easily changed. I've been toying with the idea of using this lift to lift a three point setup on my WC so I could use it for shredding. Where do you get a round to it?
