WD 45 Brakes

I'm working on replacing rear brakes and one drum on my Wd45.I can't get the pin out that holds the shoes toghter on the bottom you know the one that go's threw the axle housing.More heat two break the rust and stuff?

They can be rough if the tractor has been outside in weather. Sometimes weld something to end of pin and use slide hammer and have had to cut out with torch. In 1964 i replaced both brakes in WD-45 which was always shedded in 30 min have spent 4 hours on a rusty one

Go back about a month and there is a couple of posts about it. If you can't find them e mail me and I will tell you how it is done. Basically you drill and tap the pins, but there are some things you need to know and be aware of.
