I have an Allis 200 that will float out of third (5th/6th) when going down a steep hill. It never comes out when working or driving on flats and sloaps. Do you think this is a bent shifter fork or a worn gear ??

I had the same problem with my xt190. Been told that the bore of the gear wears and causes this. Have heard this is a common problem with an expensive fix. I opted for a bungee cord to hold it in gear. Not neccessarily the safest but it lasted several years until I traded for my 7000.
