Can anyone tell me the best quality source to get a manifold for a WD 45? Is it worth trying to go through AGCO, or should I try an internet place like here at YT. I want quality parts that will last as long as the original.

Whatever you do buy an american made one, the quality is there and they are worth the price. Those cheap imports are just that. Cheap and inferior quality.

Hey LH,
Take a good look at a D-17 manifold. It has a top and bottom boss on the end exhaust ports that beefs it up and makes it more stable and it will fit right on your WD45. Also has the muffler port threaded so a short piece of pipe can be installed. The muffler then is clamped in place with a muffler clamp so it doesn't leak rainwater in. The D-17 muffler is quieter. I have a later series oval muffler on my WD and WD45.(had to cut the hood to fit the muffler in place) Duey
