I have a 1955 AC B, that after about 15 minutes of running will start to miss, it just has started doing this and has not cut off yet,but I have to keep increasing the throttle to get back to the shelter. Any ideas as to what is going on
Thanks

We have tractors that do that. Sounds like dirt i the carb, the gas line, or the gas tank. Try cleaning the gas filter first and then try the tractor if that does not work then clean the hoses out and then the gast tank. Thats what we do and it works!

sounds like the gas tank is dirty and plugging up the jet in the carburetor bowl. if it was electrical or valves, you would not get power back by pulling the throttle open. i would clean the sediment bowl, clean the carb jet, and maybe flush the gas tank. if it was heat breaking down the coil you will loose power as the spark drops out. if it comes back when cool, this is a common problem. giving it more gas normally will not help. tight valve lash can also cause a problem. as the valves heat up and stretch, the clearance is reduced and the valves stay cracked open cutting the compression too low. a good idea to remove the valve cover and chekc the clearances, but normally giving it more gas will not make the motor run better.
