WD steering u joint

I need a u joint for my steering shaft on my WD. Can anyone help out?

If the yokes are good and you only need a new cross shaft and bearing kit, I picked up one from NAPA for $7.99; Precision #861. The caps are a little wider than the original but this gives it more bearing surface and should be more durable. The A-C part number for the kit is: 224890. Here are some other numbers that are also supposed to be correct: NEAPCO #1-1475 and TRW #20001. If you need the whole U-Joint, try a place that specializes in truck dump bodies; some of the U-Joints on the truck PTO to pump shafts are supposed to be the same.

Several years ago my dealer wanted $140 for the u-joint- and suggested another source. Just had an email from an Iowan coming to the AC get together near here with the same problem. Call 1-320-243-3736, ask for Kevin Kern- can't remember where he sent me, but he (dealer) was embarrassed about the price, and directed me elsewhere. There are other sources- neighbor told me about one for $65.

I just replaced mine. I went to a parts house. They measured the joint and matched it up with a automotive joint for $13.
