Please help - we are unable to locate service manual and hope someone can help.

While shifting from reverse to forward, we heard 2 or 3 large "pops" of gears loosing teeth. Now the loader will not move in reverse. The loader will not drive right hand track. The loader functions are fine on left track.

Pleae note, the engine is very good and a new radiator was installed.

Are gears available for this old machine and what work is necessary to remove & replace transmission to install new gears?

Would it be possible someone would want the unit for parts and engine? Loading would be a problem with only 1 drive working and location is also a problem for lowboy access.

Would appreciate any and all response - thank you.

i dont think the problem is in your transmission i sounds like its a final drive. but if it is the transmission its not that hard to fix. its best to get a used transmission. do you know what year this machine is? if not what is the sereal number? i might be interested.

Sounds like two problems. Did the no reverse and the right track drive problem all occur at the same time? Parts are availible for these. Junkyard supply is usually good. And manuals can be found without much problem. Where are you located and I will try to point you in the right direction. Chuck

Thank you for your response.

Yes both problems occurred at the same time. I have tried to get manuals starting with this site as well as others. I have run out of options where manuals are concerned. I am open to other ideas of where to find them. We are in central Arizona about 2 1/2 hours NE of Phoenix. Thank you again for all your help.
