i would like to know the approx weight of a d17 diesel series iv less rear fluid? thanks

Nebraska reported the D17 Diesel as 4867 without weights or fluid. Now this was the first series but Series 2, 3 and 4 were basically the same tractor with minor changes. Allis did not submit the later versions to Nebrasks for testing. One of the bigger changes is that the early D17's had an internal lift cylinder for the lift arms while the later ones had two 'outside the transmission' cylinders for more lifting power.
