I pulled my All Crop 60 out of the barn today, and after day of fixing a tire and greaseing it i finally got started combineing my rye. I bought this AC 60 for $75.00 from a guy that was going to scrap it! I had to replace one pully, and a auger to get it going, but it's been trouble free for 4 seasons now. I don't use it a lot each year, but it's pretty handy when i need it!! Robert

i have a 72 that i have used on soybeans for about 3 years. i am thinking of making a hume reel for it when combining soybeans. it seems i would just lose the ones that were layed down in the wrong direction. but was rather fond of the machine. it needs metal work from being stored outside and the tarp blowing off. [it is about 40 miles from me] but for a 30 acre farm i dont think it can be beat.!

Thats neat Robert. I just got a #66 and since I have a B-125 power-unit from a combine laying in the shop we are going to install it and hope to run some wheat or oats next summer.

Today's Featured Article - Stories From Old Farmer - by K. Pratt. Old Farmer, a.k.a. Dale Jensen began posting messages to our discussion forums at the grand age of 75. With extensive knowledge of farming and tractors, he valued the past and the ways that went with it. He shared these values with us until shortly before his passing. I spoke with Dale in his last days and requested his permission to share some of his stories with the readers of our magazine. He agreed, and provided the ... [Read Article]
