Yes, I was wondering if someone could please help me with a problem on my tractor. I am a first time owner and know very little about antique tractors. Here is my problem... The 3 pt. will NOT hold pressure I cannot get it to stay put while working. Also when I fill the hydralic reservoir (right side under gas tank) it seems to squirt out the transmission dipstick (beside the gear shift) all over the place. Plus while the tractor is sitting still (off) I noticed that it leaks a great deal underneath, it seems to be coming from the rear axle housing area. Could someone please share some of their knowledge on this? All help is greatly appreciated! Thank You!

i agree with Ken. we had a D17 that blew an o-ring in the cylinder. behind the seat there is a rear cover, with the joint up and down. you unbolt it and remove the rear "pumpkin" cover. inside you can see a small cylinder that pushes the 3 point arms up and down. either the hose is leaking or the clinder has a bad packing ring, etc. not very hard job.

Had one a few years ago that did that and it had a hydraulic line busted inside the housing and was leaking hydraulic fluid into the transmission causing it to over fill and run out the dip stick.
