Well the engine in the WD45 is back together,, Had it firing a bit today then decided to go try to haul the WD home from where I bought it,Took my 1/2 ton Ford 2 wheel drive and the neighbors 3 axle trailer to get it, this old half ton truck has hauled a lot of heavy equipment including a dozer. Well we got up there and loaded the WD rear tires were shot but the come along dragged her right up on the trailer. Puller ahead about 20 feet and then all the truck would do was spin on the grass, so we jumped in the van my dad had drove up with and went back for the other truck, its a 1 ton 4x4. put the lil trailer on the one ton and headed the 35 miles back to where the tractor is, well we pulled the half ton up onto the solid ground and then went to load up the rest of the stuff on the trailer behine the one ton, loaded the snap coupler plow, the loader, snow blade and bucket. went to head out of the feild and the steering gear went on the one ton,, so now I have to go back tomorrow, drive the lil truck and lowboy home, unload the tractor and go back and load the 1 ton on the lowboy and probably have someone drive my cherokee and pull the other trailer home,,, its been quite a adventure,, guess I should have stayed home and worked on the 45... Anyone else have days like this??
