Need help removing sleeves on a d-15

can i get the sleeves out with a oak block ? or do i need to get a puller? if so where can i rent a puller ? also do i reuse the packing rings at the bottom of the liners ? thanks for the help

Brian,
An oak block will do fine. Just use a big hammer to knock them loose. NO, do not reuse the O-ring seals. Be sure to clean the block real good and lubricate the lower block, O-ring grooves and O-rings. The sleeves should then just push in with hand pressure. Use a short bolt with a large flat washer between the cylinders to hold them in place while installing the pistons. Duey

I just did my D10 and I used my air hammer with the hammer head attachment and moved it in a circle as I hammered and they came out fine, although the lower face did mushroom some, I didn't intend on reusing them so that was fine. FWIW Mike
