We have a 7050 and the clutch doesnt seem the same as it was. when I try to shift the shifter that is on the floor the gears grind. The clutch pedal seems to have a pulsating felling when I depress it. I also have to push the pedal really hard to shift the transmission or it grinds. Does the tractor have a hydraclic clutch? If so could the slave cylinder be bad or have air in it? Or is clutch going bad? The clutch never slips under a load. Thanks for any info! Jeremy

Your tractor has a torque limiter which is similar to a clutch but has no throw out bearing. It is released by hyd. oil being diverted to sump and transmission brake. The clutch should release with pedal 2" off floor and depress on down to engage transmission brake. Take left panel off in front of cab and locate the cable that is above power director valve. Adjus cable by sliding in slots until j lever is up against washer on spring on the valve. If cable cannot be adjusted by slots turn end on cable further on and sometimes I have had to cut end of cable and rethread it. This should correct shifting problem unless transmission brake is out or seals are blown on piston but this dosent happen often. Your pulsing you feel should go away when cable gets adjusted. If have other problems hollar back.
