D14 cutting out

I recently bought a d14. I had used it for short periods of time and it ran fine. When I tried to mow with it it started cutting out after an hour or so. It acted like it wasn't getting gas or had water in the gas. I've checked the sediment bulb and tank and this doesn't seem to be the problem. The next day I tried to rake hay with it and it started cutting out the same way. I can leave it set for awhile and it will run fine for a little while then start cutting out again. I thought maybe it was overheating but it doesn't seem to be hot when it does this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It could be the coil they start to break down when they get hot. If it is very old this could be your problem. They will act the same way you describe.

I changed the coil and have used it a couple of times since then without any problems. Thank you for your help. I really do appreciate it.

Could also be a bad condenser - they do things like this when they get hot.
